ARTIST STATEMENT

I find myself endlessly captivated by the world — drawn in by its texture, its motion, its quiet and its noise. These are the moments I explore on canvas: the exhilaration and energy of a scene, captured and held still. Observing these small, fleeting moments in others' lives is both nostalgic and reassuring to me — every detail, every line, every snapshot of time and place becomes something worth preserving through paint.

And in considering all of this, I find myself moved to create more memories of my own, and, above all, to have more fun.
